ππΏ When May Feels Like a Maybe π
✉ Dear Readers,
⏳ I know what many of you have been thinking lately. I feel it too—it is already May.
πΎ This part of the year has always felt quietly personal to me. The days grow warmer, the winds slowly begin to change their direction, and somewhere in the distance, the earth prepares itself for the coming rain.
✨ May has always felt like a month of “maybes” to me— a quiet space between what has passed and what is still waiting to arrive.
πΏ There is a certain stillness that settles within days like these.
π Sometimes, seasons gently ask us to pause for a little while and reflect upon the paths we have chosen, the dreams we once carried so fearlessly, and the places life has unexpectedly led us toward.
π± It is simply human nature. In this ever-rushing world, as the seasons change around us, we too begin wondering whether something within us must change in order to keep moving forward.
π When I was a child, my dreams changed almost every day. Some mornings, I wished to become a police officer; on others, an actor or even a lawyer, imagining myself winning great cases and returning home with stories to tell.
π But never—not even once—did I imagine that one day I would simply be learning how to become myself.
π€️ That is how life quietly unfolds before us.
π It surprises us most when we begin carrying dreams deep within our hearts. Certain moments arrive without warning, closing one road entirely or gently turning us toward paths we never imagined walking.
⏳ A career shifts. A life changes within the blink of an eye. Sometimes, so softly that we fail to notice it until we find ourselves standing within an entirely different chapter of life.
πͺ And though life allows us to begin again, beginning again is not always easy.
π§️ Often, we find ourselves sitting before closed doors, quietly hoping that somewhere, somehow, a small window might still open for us.
π Letting go is never easy. Even after trying again and again, we sometimes return to the same place—only this time carrying a little more silence and a little more disappointment than before.
π€️ Many of us began this year hoping to start over, carrying hearts filled with faith and quiet hope. Yet somehow, here we are now—standing between too many roads, uncertain of which direction to follow. At times, it all begins to feel like a distant mirage beneath the summer sky.
πΌ And during moments like these, we begin finding comfort in the simplest things around us a little deeper.
π️ The trees continue to stand through every changing season, the fresh water still flows gently through the narrow paths near the fields, birds travel faithfully each morning and evening, and the mountains remain grounded no matter how high they rise.
π‘ Somehow, these quiet surroundings—and the people who continue standing beside us through every season of life—remind us that not everything is meant to leave. Some things stay, quietly assuring us that we too will find our way forward again.
π» One of the most beautiful things about these past months is that they taught us to pause and truly look at our lives. We learned to think more deeply about our goals, our growth, and the people we love.
π️ Some of us found success along the way, while others are still quietly waiting for that one miracle—or the breakthrough they have long been praying for.
π€ So hold on a little longer.
πΎ Life has a gentle way of teaching those who are willing to learn, endure, and continue exploring. No effort is ever truly wasted; in one way or another, it always finds its way back to us.
π―️ And if you find yourself feeling stuck today, remember this—you have already survived moments you once believed would break you completely, and yet somehow, you still found your way here.
π± And perhaps that itself is proof that before something meaningful arrives, life first prepares us for it. Sometimes it tests us, sometimes it breaks us, only to guide us gently toward a different direction, a softer understanding, and a wiser version of ourselves.
π Before I leave, I wish to ask you something gently—
π€️ What is the one thing that has kept you moving forward and inspired you to look toward the brighter side of life?
π Do write to me about it. I would truly love to read your thoughts.
With warmth and love,
✍ Raasi
