Reflections and Resolutions πŸ•°️

✉ Dear Readers,

πŸŽ„ I hope Christmas Eve passed softly for you.
In some places, the year is gently coming to an end, while in others, a new one has already begun.

πŸ•°️ Everyone speaks of resolutions as the year turns.
I have chosen a small and quiet one: to stay closer to you than I did last year, and to share a little more of my days and thoughts.
If my words can gently remind you to slow down, to live with care, and to find comfort in simple moments, then this year will feel worthwhile to me.
That is all I wish to do.

πŸŒ… The New Year often arrives carrying hopes of fresh beginnings.
Yet, before we step forward, it feels right to pause and look back at the path we walked this year.

🌱 It has not been an easy year for many of us, myself included.
Still, every moment carries something to teach us—about people, about ourselves, or about life itself.
Some worked with all their heart and received little in return. Some were fortunate, but their brighter days were shaped by past struggles. Everyone blooms in their own season.

✨ Despite everything, we are here today.
Many of us chose ourselves even when it was difficult, and that quiet courage deserves admiration.

πŸ§“πŸ‘΅ When life feels heavy, I often turn to the words of grandparents and elders.
They have lived through more seasons than we have. In this fast and competitive world, we forget how to live for our own happiness.
Life is not easy anywhere—not even in the countryside. Heartbreaks are common, and expectations weigh on everyone.

🌟 What matters most is how we see ourselves.
When pain is carried again and again in the mind, it grows heavier. Acceptance does not erase sorrow, but it makes living gentler.
Many struggles remain unspoken—not because they are small, but because we wish to appear strong.
Sometimes, even sharing with loved ones does not heal us. At times, we hurt our own people, or they hurt us, and the silence of an unspoken apology lingers longer than the pain.

☁️ Some days are not meant to shine.
They arrive quietly, offering clarity instead of comfort. Life can be bitter, but it asks for patience and effort to be made beautiful.

🌾 Once, I asked my grandmother a question that stayed with me.
In farming, some crops bring good value, and some bring loss. When loss comes, do people stop sowing the fields?

🚢‍♀️ She smiled and asked, “If you fall once, do you stop walking?”
Life, she said, is not only about profit or loss. Sometimes, loss teaches us new ways to move forward.
When we give our best, life always leaves a lesson for the brave.

🀝 In our village, when one family faces loss, others share what they have so that no one gives up.
It is a quiet richness—one that cannot be measured.

🌸 My grandmother often says,
“If we think negatively, our mind weakens. If we speak negatively, another’s heart grows heavy. If we act negatively, our character slowly fades.”
So she always reminds me not to plant such seeds in my thoughts.

🌿 Life has always been simple; we are the ones who make it complicated.
Whatever you are facing—heartbreak, failure, separation, or loss—be gentle with yourself.
If you need time, pause. Rest. Begin again. But never abandon yourself.

πŸ’› The most precious gift life has given you is you.

πŸŽ‡ As this New Year begins, I hope it brings clarity to the things that have felt unsettled.
I hope it brings the love, trust, and happiness you have been waiting for.
Take your time to begin again, and choose yourself once more.

πŸ“ If you wish, do share your resolution with me.
I would truly love to read it.

With warmth and love,
✍️ Raasi
